Google Presentations

Interesting development, Google is adding a presentation app to it’s list of services this summer. I really wonder whether this is going to work because, a presentation app in a web browser?

For the first time, Google’s own productivity tools could be installed on our hard disks. I have already started editing my worksheets and docs on Google Docs and Spreadsheets and once this app is ready and tested, I may just be ready to uninstall OpenOffice from my computer.

Though for most people Microsoft Office and it’s known alternatives are going to remain there with them for long long time, but because I don’t use all of the many features they provide, I’m just happy with a fast AJAX interface that no other online service has been able to provide.
