A fresh slate to write on

Aug 26, 2009

Over the past few months, I’ve felt that the content I publish here no longer fits in properly. When I started this weblog I didn’t think it would focus on anything specific. It was just a simple way to for the pathetic me to share things with people. I created this space only because I felt I wasn’t “up-to-date” with what the rest of the world was doing - creating accounts on Blogger.com and blogrolls on their new blogspot subdomains. My blog didn’t have anything worth reading at that time. I posted a couple of screenshots, ranted about a couple of teachers at school and that was it. To put it simply, Blogger was the first social network I started using online. I visited and commented on a lot of blogs then but that was only to grab attention and make my existence more evident. I’m pretty sure many of my blogging friends did the same thing then. Now things are different. It’s not just about grabbing attention. I think the things I’d like to speak or write about are very specific. I don’t go and tell people how awesome my networks professor is, because I’m not that kind of a person any more. And that’s the reason I need a fresh slate. That fresh slate is already here, in the form of Escaped Sequence - escapedsequence.com. I will continue to serve archives and maybe post somthing new over here every once in a while but most of my focus will now be on ES.

I request readers to bookmark my new weblog URL and use the new feeds to subscribe to it:
