A price a little too decent…

I just cannot imagine the सब्ज़ीवाला(Vegetable Vendor) coming outside my house carrying the iPhone. $199(=Rs 9000 approximately) worldwide, let’s see whether El Jobso thinks India fits in his world.

  • India is 63rd on the List of countries which will be seeing a rollout of the 3G iphone starting 11th July. Check out the keynote video with the world map layout at http://news.cnet.com/1606-2_3-50002573.html

Now it’s time to wait and watch wat date vodafone guys give, since i think thats the carrier that has tied up with Apple for distribution in India. And most importantly, the tied up plan with the iphone !!!

  • No, that is the list of countries they are going to launch in the upcoming months. AirTel also has a tieup by the way.

  • Apple will sell it with in-store activation i think , which means 3 years of super high career costs to compensate for low phone cost. Apple aint stupid money-wise !

  • It’s a two-year contract. And I think you mean carrier…It ain’t stupid enough to lose customers fooling the public like Reliance. Too early to talk about it still. I know I’ll buy one without the data plans if I have an option.

  • yeah carrier, engineering does that to you, too much spell check dependency.
