Entourage ‘08 is a great upgrade for people who have switched to a Mac in the recent past and have been used to the form and functioning of Outlook 07. Now that Office is finally a universal binary, Entourage ‘08 is much snappier than it’s predecessor which was the slowest Rosetta emulated app I used.

Apple Mail is great but I’ve been used to having a single app that manages all my events and email. Entourage suits my needs perfectly, even the Sunbird extension for Thunderbird didn’t work for me. I’ve also noticed that Entourage is much better at handling IMAP mail requests than Apple Mail. I trashed Mail.app as soon as I installed and upgraded to Office 2008.
