Meet Mr. Anon ★
June 16, 2007
For the Mr. Anon reading this post, I’m surprised to have found out that you go through a proxy based in India using an AirTel connection. I thought it was impossible to setup a proxy on a normal computer with a static IP address!
I still think so because AirTel uses dynamic IPs. You’ve found an ingenious solution and I’d love to know how…and Arjun would like to know too..
I must announce like Bill Gates, I’m not fake Anon!

You might wanna change the link to this:

1. You post Arjun’s IP address into the public , even if its dynamic , its shameful.
2. You make a direct link to his email on your site, by now thousands of spambots would already have him on their mailing lists.
Sheesh ! I am disappointed !
Precisely.
What’s the harm in publishing an IP address? There’s nothing shameful in posting an IP address that’s dynamic. At this point I may be the one with Arjun’s IP.
I’ve removed your email address, apologies for publishing it earlier.
I’ve added your link as you requested.
I didn’t want to say this earlier, but I don’t really care about people posting stuff based on pretenses…
I have given the evidence I could, you’ve given the evidence you could. Although you missed out that Mr. Anon doesn’t comment frequently. If you browse through the archives you’ll notice similar comment patterns.
This mystery is highly interesting but since I can’t phrase my thoughts like Stanley Gardner, you wont be seeing any more comments from me on this matter.
Zero comments, that was a general post. Or is it that you love ZERO comments?
I assume you think that image is doctored as I had mentioned in a chat which you quoted. Pass it through any of those Fake Image Scanners, then post the analysis on your blog.
If you don’t think it’s doctored, I’d like to mention that on a single day it’s very unlikely that the second and third set of digits change even for dynamic IPs. You should go through the whitepapers that explain how an internet service provider starts.
Ankit, I understand why you switched on comment moderation perfectly well now. “Shameful” is an extremely strong word. As for SPAM bots, I would like you to try indexing email addresses from my blog using some of the free SPAM services and tell me how effective they are. My hosting service may be bad, but not that bad to allow spam bots so easily.
Ok , i see that i am not welcome, this is my last comment ever on this blog :
When a person visits your blog , he does not want any of his personal info revealed including his ISP.
And do you think spambots identify themselves as spambots, it has little to do with your hosting server. Spambots are like search engine crawlers.
you have been an internet user for a lot of time and should know that one should never ever post email addresses directly on a site.
The End !
Ankit, I never said you aren’t welcome. I just meant to say just like you found some of my comments on your blog rude, the same applies here too.
I would still like you to try indexing my blog for email addresses.
