Zero Comments ★
They’re the saddest words in an enthusiastic blogger’s dictionary. The first think most bloggers do after switching on the internet is visit their respective blogs to see whether someone has responded to their posts. After spending time writing posts, comments are the least a blogger can expect.
It hurts to see that Bloggers get disheartened and stop blogging after they see those two words on every post on their blogs. I had almost shut down my blog 1.5 years back, when it suddenly occurred to me that checking my Webstats account would tell me what to do. I got a pleasant surprise after seeing that there were 20 unique views of my website on that day. I’ve somehow managed to drag along and my website now has over 200 posts.
It is but obvious that people consider their blogs a waste of time, if they’re not getting enough comments. So by not commenting on someone’s blog which you visit very frequently should be nothing less than a cyber crime. You are of course causing the deaths of large number of blogs and reducing Google’s daily indexing work. Comment on blogs you visit, let them live a pieceful life.
For the sake of commenting ,
“pieceful life” -> peaceful life
:)
if your posts are good, people will surely comment and perhaps spread the word too.
I don’t need to convince anyone. I like my blog with the visitors it currently has. I don’t need to tell anyone either. I would stop blogging if I were not as happy.
