Flip3D for Windows XP ★
While browsing digg today, I discovered a tiny app called TopDesk that enables Flip3D (the feature Microsoft has flaunted Vista with) on computers with Windows XP and 2000. By tiny I mean 826KB, something I could have downloaded even during the bad days of dialup.
As an alternate option, you can even switch to Exposé mode, that is you choose to can tile all open windows to choose the one you require like in Mac OS X:The app costs $14.95. Download here. The app looks pretty neat to me and therefore is another reason not to buy Vista. The one thing that’s missing is transparent windows, but you can achieve that easily with Glass2K.
Usage: Alt+Tab once for flip mode, tab to flip windows, alt+tab to return.
Thanks a lot mate.
