How important do you think you are when you see that you are only one among the googol (and counting) number of species in this universe that may or may not be ape-descended like we are?
You are eligible to ask such questions only after having the satisfaction of finishing the best book you’ve ever read at 11:30 PM. I’ve just revised the answer to life, the universe, and everything for the second time.
It’s most probably only a coincidence that I finished watching the movie based on the best book you’ve ever (or never) read, today at 11:30 PM. But the reason may also be the answer to the question that was never asked, the question whose answer is already known to us.
Unusual is not a good word to describe a situation where a person like me begins to love a book only exactly a year after I read it because, well, I’m an Earthling. The movie, I must say, is much better than any Harry Potter movie or Hindi blockbuster that you’ve seen recently. It is also one of the few movies where people are fully dressed, if you wanted to know whether you can watch it with your parents. If watching the movie wasn’t enough, I found a 12 year old D0S-based computer game that is astonishingly simple to play, but at the same time very difficult for menschlich(like us) to interpret.
If you’re using a fairly decent computer, and are browsing the internet using a good browser, then it shouldn’t be difficult for you to download the movie or look for the book I’m talking about in some decent library on this very small planet of ours. Douglas Adams is a good man.
‘Best book’? Aren’t you the same Abhishek with whom I had a Google Talk chat, and you’d said ‘pathetic book’? Change of philosophy, eh? ;) Well, I’m not complaining, welcome to the fold.
Hmm…yes I am the same Abhishek, but time changes everything, including me :)
lol, I thought it was a pathetic book too, but I had to get it to know why.
;) and finally I understood the fact, its not the book that is so intresting, its the way its told with such strong vocabulary.
I dont think you’re serious. In any case, you should see the movie. Though it didn’t do well in the box office, I would surely recommend you seeing it. Many good movies haven’t done well, just like Jhankaar Beats
Don’t utter heretic words, like trying to compare a monumental piece of movie history like h2g2 by comparing it to some Indian shit.
Strong vocabulary? You mean f-word usage or the seriously drop-dead-laughing sarcasm?
Have you tried the new web version of the h2g2 game which is there on the BBC Radio h2g2 page? Maybe you should have a look at it…

Oh..Jhankaar Beats is an awesome movie. Go watch it.
I have. And nothing compares to epics like h2g2, or Top Gun, etc.
