It’s August 15th and there are just 10 days left for you-know-what. I was planning to use Windows Live Writer to write this post, but after starting it’s installation Microsoft told me to download a 24MB .NET Framework so that it may work. The connection I am using has download limits, as my WiFi laptop has been pronounced dead.

So the legit version of Leopard is already out on the bay. Most PC users are already happy with Windows XP and Windows 2000 and like I said earlier the transition to the next version will take place only a year after it’s release, as always. “The most secure version of windows yet” has already been attacked at the BlackHat, which is only bad news for Microsoft. I have never hated Microsoft. I, in fact, love it. But for Windows, I don’t know how many of us would have PCs and how many of us would actually be browsing the internet like this. Microsoft is awesome, no matter how many people have criticized it for taking monopoly and not letting other competitors survive. That is an ideal business strategy: Kill the competition.

Though Apple has not been successful in this field, they have been successful by having the biggest market share of digital music players. And if they ever let us install Mac OS on non-apple hardware, that would be the only time Microsoft should be scared. Why should they be scared, you may ask. Well, go and visit Apple.com to see how powerful Mac OS Tiger(greater than or equal to Vista) already is and how much more powerful Leopard is. As for now, Microsoft can just enjoy having monopoly.
